Oil Washes Into Mobile Bay, on Fort Morgan, Ala.

The Gulf oil spill has been spreading north and east toward the beach resorts at Gulf Shores and the Florida Panhandle. BP CEO Tony Hayward says they should know in 12 to 24 hours whether the latest effort to contain the leak will work. (June 3)
